One Day Clinic on Horsemanship Through Feel & Release
"I am still licking and chewing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't even know where to start!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ever since your clinic last Saturday I haven't been able to shut my brain off!!!!
First off, I want to say that the clinic was incredible and I really really learned a lot. It not only taught me things, but more than that, it opened a whole huge door to another world almost. It's like learning to present the feel to the horse and then wait patiently until they follow that feel . . .
. . . But this thing with feel and release really has me intrigued because it's unlike a lot of stuff that I have done. The thing I think that I have seen about it is, instead of a program and 1-2-3 step by step approach, it's all about the horse and what it needs at that moment. It's more about how to communicate by feeling instead of just doing the proper steps and hoping to get the right response. With the feel approach, it definitely takes some experience and lots of patience but the results are a horse that is literally weightless in your hand . . ."

HORSE TRAINING THROUGH FEEL INTERNSHIP WITH RAYNA GRANGER 2010
By Joanna Christion, Morgantown, WV
Rayna taught me how to listen to my horse and to take his needs and abilities into consideration, building trust and communication between us. I now know how to ask through feel for a change in gate, a change of direction and a stop with my seat and body position rather by pulling and kicking. Seven is learning to understand those requests with softness. He is learning that no one is in a rush and that he can go at the speed where he feels comfortable, that we will support and help him as he explores a world very different from his life in the pasture...

"Rayna worked with my four year old Appaloosa mare several times a week. Her horsemanship techniques were not just terrific for my horse, but terrific for me as well! She worked wonders with both of us, and opened a whole new world for man and horse alike." |
Robert Aguirre, Pipe Creek, Texas
"It is very difficult now to find adequate trainers for our young horses . . . None have come close to having the skill, knowledge and determination you brought with you every time we gave you a young horse to start. Fortunately, we learned a lot from you and use those lessons daily."
Bob Ahrens & Marlene Nash, BoMar Farm, Pipe Creek, Texas
"Rayna is one of the best horse AND people trainers around. I spent many hours with her and will continue to as long as she will have me! She will explain everything and work with you in a competent, quiet, and very professional manner. Her horse skills (and people skills) beat all I have seen and rival or exceed all of the "natural horsemanship trainers" that are so popular today. Do not miss this exceptional woman or you will regret it when she is too big for all of us!"
Pam Burns owned by Cody, Beauford, Billy, Ciro and Roanie, Sweetwater, TN
"Watching Rayna train my horse is a real joy - learning to do it myself is an even greater pleasure. She has made my dreams of having a working relationship with my horse a reality".
